VISION

Lancier by Dita Eyewear™ is born of that truth, engineered to fulfill that requirement. Lancier lenses are of the highest optical quality, offered with and without polarization. Lancier frames are meticulously handcrafted by our master craftsmen in Japan from lightweight materials including titanium, zyl acetate and co-injected rubber. In addition, the frames feature our patented Temple Release™ technology. The result is eyewear as strong, adaptable and driven to perform as the individuals who choose to wear it.
LAND
It is said that in auto racing, you drive with your eyes: where the eyes are focused, the hands and feet will follow. With each rapid sweep of the eye across the landscape, the driver gathers mission-critical data: the radius of a curve, the banking angle, the degree of a slope. The more clearly the driver sees, the quicker the driver can process the rushing stream of visual information. In racing, knowledge is power.
SEA
Sailing is nothing if not a lesson in physics. To helm a sailing vessel in the heat of competition is to conduct an experiment in fluid dynamics as the winds pressure against the sails literally pulls the hull through water. It demands the rare ability to read the sea for the most subtle of signs – a puff of wind, a seam between sets of waves. TEMPLE RELEASE TECHNOLOGY
Different activities demand different design features. For some, a looped temple end works best, while cable wrap around temples are ideal for more rigorous sports.
All Lancier eyewear frames come standard with both types of temple and they can be quickly changed, thanks to our proprietary Temple Release technology.
It gives Lancier a flexibility you simply won’t find in other eyewear.
BROWN POLARIZED - LAND SUNGLASS LENSES
Provides hi-contrast in sunny to overcast driving conditions making road signs and other objects more visible. Reduces violet and blue light that are the key contributors to glare, releaving eye strain and stress.
Polarization cuts 99% of harsh reflective glare magnified by flat surfaces like water, concrete or asphalt. Our Brown Polarized lenses are the ideal choice for driving.
GREY POLARIZED - SEA SUNGLASS LENSES
The ideal choice for anyone who spends time on the water. Providing neutral contrast in medium to bright sun conditions, optimizing equal light reduction without distorting color.
Polarization cuts 99% of harsh reflective glare and filters 9-10% of damaging High Energy Visible (HEV) wavelengths in the blue-light spectrum from the water and sky.
G-15 NON-POLARIZED - AIR SUNGLASS LENSES
Pilots require a non-Polarized lens in order to clearly see LCD instrument panels.
Our G-15 mineral glass lenses provide clearer, deeper and sharper contrast than standard non-polarized lenses. By enhancing colors in the red/orange/yellow spectrum, while cutting colors in the blue/violet spectrum, our G-15 lens allows objects to pop against the sky and clouds.
UV PROTECTION
Lancier lenses block out 100% of harmful UV rays up to 400nm.
UV-A = Aging
Long Wave – Contributes to the aging and tanning of skin.
UV-B = Burning
Medium Wave – Contributes to burning and wrinkling of skin as well as cataracts in the eyes.
UV-C = Cancer
Short Wave – Causes cancer and is the most dangerous type.
OPTICAL GROUNDING
Lancier lenses exhibit zero distortion from frame stress which is critical to the performance-oriented individual. Zero distortion means that when looking through Lancier lenses, things are seen exactly as they are. There is no refraction. Objects are precisely as they appear–the brain does not need to compensate for the distortion, a major cause of eye fatigue is significantly reduced.
MINERAL GLASS
Lancier lenses are made from mineral glass, which provides greater clarity and higher scratch resistance compaired to polycarbonate or CR-39 lenses. Our mineral glass lenses are 20% thinner than standard glass lenses, meaning they fulfill a basic aim of Lancier design: to save weight wherever possible.
ANTI-REFLECTIVE COATING
A nine-layer Anti-Reflective coating on Lancier lenses help reduce eye fatigue by absorbing bounce-back glare from above and behind the lens. The Anti-Reflective coating also eliminates glare from windshields, water, street lights and other highly reflective surfaces.
OLEOPHOBIC COATING
Break it down and it’s a much less intimidating term: Oleo, as in oil. Phobic, as in resistant. Put it together and it means that the Oleophobic coating on our lenses help repel smudges and grease. Lancier lenses maintain their clarity and are easy to clean.
